About Us
Hello! This is Bhat Basket. We bring you real dry fruits from Kashmir valley, where I grew up.
Every fall, we go out to the walnut trees. The leaves turn yellow, we spread sheets under the branches, shake them gently, and collect the fresh walnuts. Let them dry in the sun, crack open later – that taste is something special. The Mamra almonds are big and oily, straight from our orchards. Saffron? We get up early when the flowers open, pick the red parts by hand, dry them careful so the color and smell stay strong. Then there are the dried apricots – sweet and chewy – and figs too, whatever the trees give that year.
We buy only from farmers around here, people we know since kids. No chemicals on the trees, no stuff added later. We clean everything at home, pack it fresh, send it out. Good for eating straight, putting in gifts, or using in cooking.
These things keep you healthy – give energy, good for heart, full of vitamins from the mountain soil and water.
